Not another certification. A place to put down the voice you've been performing and find the one that's actually yours — on the mat, and everywhere else.

"It was my disconnection from myself that was at the root of it all."
Eleven years into a corporate career, I had most of what I was supposed to want. I also had no idea who I was underneath it. I kept pointing at things outside myself as the reason I felt stuck — a job, a relationship, a version of success I hadn't hit yet. It took me a long time to see that the actual problem was disconnection from myself, not the absence of the next achievement.
Yoga is what handed me the way back. Not the poses — the practice of paying attention to what's true, breath by breath, until performing stopped feeling necessary.
When I became a teacher, every teacher I could model myself after sounded like someone else's idea of a yoga teacher. I had a choice: keep imitating, or trust that my way — awkward edges and all — was enough. I chose the second one.
That's what this training is built to do for you. Not hand you a script to imitate. Help you find the one voice no one else can teach you, because it's already yours.
"Chris is one of those teachers whose energy stays with you long after the class ends — his honesty, openness and curiosity create a room where everyone feels welcome."

Find your voice
Maybe it's burnout. Maybe it's a relationship that keeps hitting the same wall, or a career that checks every box except the ones that matter to you. You're not broken — you're tired of performing a version of yourself that was never quite true.
A cue you finally say in your own words. A moment on your mat where you stop performing and just are. A conversation in the circle where you're fully seen and nothing bad happens. Together they add up to a person who shows up differently.
You'll carry the realisation that the thing you were looking for outside yourself was never going to close the gap. You'll walk differently. You'll teach differently, if you teach at all. Either way, you'll have stopped imitating and started becoming.
Words from the people who have been in the room
"He helped me confront my biggest fear."

"Inspiring, powerful, motivating and deeply authentic."

"The best yoga experience of my trip."

"Deliciously challenging, yet I always felt safely held."

"Working with Coach Chris has been an absolute game changer."

"He drops profound truth bombs that challenge my perspective."

"His energy stays with you long after class ends."

"He doesn't just teach yoga. He reminds you who you are."

Learn to lead

Most YTTs teach you to sequence.
We teach you to sense what a room actually needs.
Most YTTs build instructors.
We build people who can steady a room — on a mat, in a boardroom, at their own kitchen table.
Most YTTs measure progress in postures.
We measure it in how honestly you show up.
Most YTTs hand you a script.
We help you find out you never needed one.
Most YTTs end with a certificate.
This one ends with you trusting your own voice.
You'll still leave with the full 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification — the philosophy, the anatomy, the sequencing, the practicum, all of it. That was never in question. The question is what else you leave with.
What changed
"There are teachers who guide you through a yoga practice, and then there are people who remind you of who you are. Chris is the latter. I leave feeling more connected to myself, more grounded, and reminded that the power I was looking for has been within me all along."

"Chris has honestly been the best teacher I could've wished for, not only for my physical practice but off the mat too. He helped me confront my biggest fear — speaking in front of others — which had held me back from teaching. Now I've let go of my fears."

"Chris is an exceptional coach, friend and guru. He has an uncanny ability to drop profound truth bombs which challenge my perspective in such healthy ways, and has given me the tools to navigate my path ahead."

"Working with Coach Chris has been an absolute game changer for me. His dedication and genuine care have propelled me towards my goals in ways I never imagined. He doesn't just inspire, he empowers, challenges and uplifts."

"I found your classes to be very inspiring, powerful, motivating and sensitive all at once. I find it courageous and incredibly important that you open yourself up to a broad audience and help individuals become more open, recognised, valued and authentic."

"Besides articulating the challenges of everyday life in his classes, Chris has a unique ability to relate to and support his students on a physical level. His classes are deliciously challenging and yet you feel safely held, and motivated in all ways."

The setting
No training has combined these two spaces before. Both are part of the curriculum, not the backdrop.
The world's most iconic yoga venue, in the jungle above Ubud, where practice feels like prayer.
Cliffside practice above the Indian Ocean, where breath meets horizon and the elements do half the teaching.
More than a classroom
A real purification ritual, led by a local priest, on the day you arrive.
Incense, flowers, water. Not a photo opportunity — a thousand-year-old welcome.
You wake in the dark and climb until you're standing above the clouds.
A circle, a fire, an offering, and thirty people choosing to be honest with each other.
The unplanned minutes where thirty strangers become a circle you'd trust with anything.
A day in the room
Not a lecture hall. A circle of practitioners learning to teach by first learning to be present.

Real adjustment methodology, practised on real bodies, until it's second nature.

Quiet built into every day — because presence is trained, not assumed.

The friendships that outlast the training. Usually the part people remember most.

The sutras and the Gita, discussed until they're usable — not just quotable.

Anatomy, sequencing and methodology, taught so it actually sticks.

You teach, you're taught, and you get feedback that changes how you show up.
The curriculum
Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, and the eight limbs brought into your daily life — not just your practice.
Peak pose theory, thematic architecture, and breath-led flow. Build classes that move students from the inside out.
The science and art of breath. From foundational techniques to advanced practices that change the nervous system.
Applied anatomy for real bodies in real postures. Move students safely without turning yoga into physical therapy.
Daily teaching, cueing workshops, feedback circles, and hands-on adjustment methodology. You leave ready to teach.
Morning sadhana, evening reflection, and immersive sessions with Chris. The foundation everything else rests on.
Your guide
Chris left eleven years of corporate success to find out who he was without it. That search is the actual curriculum here — the 200 hours are the container for it.
How to stop performing and start teaching from what's actually true for you — using breath, sequencing and philosophy as the tools, not the point.
"I teach my way so you can walk yours." Not a slogan — the whole method.
The circle
A former corporate tech professional who came through burnout via twelve years of meditation practice — she teaches from having lived the transition.
"Meditation is something you already know how to do."
An osteopath with 20+ years exploring the body through movement and touch — he moves you past memorisation into a felt understanding of your own anatomy.
The body as the teacher, not the subject.
Authorised to teach Ashtanga in 2007 by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois himself — decades of lineage, delivered with humour rather than dogma.
Insight, humour and compassion in everything he teaches.
She recovered her own voice after trauma through song and somatic practice — and built a method to help you do the same.
Founder of the Vocal Flow Method.
35 years of multi-lineage training, including Kashmir Trika Shaivism in Varanasi — sound as a direct route to presence.
A yogi, voice artist and sound alchemist shaped by devotion.
A lifelong musician and Prana Flow vinyasa practitioner since 2010 — he doesn't just play during class, he shapes it.
"His music changes the room."
Your investment
A deliberately small training, so the depth of teaching holds. Only two are offered each year.
